Description

Beatiful traditional cottage dating from 1650's that has been tastefully converted to incorporate a disabled access wing with large bedroom and wheel in wet room. Disabled access wing opens out into the open plan ground floor, with a further three bedrooms upstairs. Patio/sun terrace outside with ramped access to garden, the heated pool and car park.

Access to the cottage is either via the main front door, or there is a path and ramped access from the car park for wheelchair users. Noisette Cottage is a spacious 4 bedroom cottage, full of charm and character, but with modern conveniences. The front faces the Courtyard and to the rear is a private terrace and sunny garden with Barbecue and garden furniture, perfect for dining or drinks. There is a traditional stone bread oven in the Garden too. Sleeps 10. Free Wi-Fi.

In detail:
Open plan living. The cottage has a light airy feel to the main living area thanks to large french doors that open out onto the sun terrace/outdoor dining area. The main living area is well equipped with TV, Freesat, DVD/CD player, iPod docking station/radio. The focus of the room is a large chimney and inset wood burning stove, raised on a plinth.

The kitchen area is well equipped with gas oven/Hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. Wine and bottle openers along with pizza cutter etc are included. The Dining area seats up to 10.

A ramp leads up to the private garden including its own traditional bread oven.

Noisette underwent extensive work August 2013 - April 2014. A new disabled access 'wing' was added that boasts a large bedroom and attached wet room all on one level.

Access to the cottage is either via the main front door (10cm step), or there is a path and ramped access from the car park for wheelchair users with double width patio doors. The threshold is 0.5cm on the outside with 2.5cm on the inside. Internal ground floor doors are all 88cm wide. The disabled access room has its own doors out on the terrace and a short passageway that connects it to the kitchen. The ground floor bedroom and wet room have wider doors. The bedroom has hard flooring and plenty of space around the bed, as well as space under the bed for a hoist. The wet room has a roll-in shower, wall-mounted shower chair, removable grab rails and plenty of space for turning. The shower chair is a tiled seat, 102cm wide, 39cm deep, 53cm high.

The rest of the ground floor is open plan with a brand new well equipped kitchen, dining area and living room.

The pool has an access ramp, width 165cm. Pool gate 110cm wide. The pool is partially in ground, pool height 45cm from the top decking. There is a path from the car park to the rear garden, a ramp from the garden to the rear patio, ramp width 120cm. Garden gate width is 95cm.
